Sad news as Julia Roberts’ half sister dies from alleged drug overdose

Very sad news today for the Oscar winning Julia Roberts as her 37 year old half sister has been found dead. The cause of death is believed to have been a drug overdose. Nancy Motes is half sister to both Julia, 45 and Eric, 57. This tragic death follows a series of instances in which Motes took to social media and exclusive tabloid interviews to divulge personal family information and details of their reportedly turbulent relationship.

As per US Weekly, a spokesperson issued the following statement: “It is with deep sadness that the family of Nancy Motes… confirms that she was found dead in Los Angeles yesterday of an apparent drug overdose… here is no official report from the Coroner’s office yet… The family is both shocked and devastated.”
